Why does the taste of GOODIE vary between batches?

GOODIE is a LIVING, unpasteurised product that keeps fermenting even after it’s bottled in glass jars. The fermentation process is ever-evolving, meaning the same batch can taste different as it matures. We only use natural berries, so their flavour can change depending on the harvest and weather conditions, making each batch of GOODIE unique in taste. Thanks to the continuous work of natural ingredients and microorganisms, we get to enjoy GOODIE at different stages of its maturation and flavour development.

Did the cork pop – did something happen to GOODIE?

Don’t worry, GOODIE is perfectly fine, though it might just need a little cooling down. Temperature changes can speed up the fermentation, creating pressure that might cause the cork to pop. To avoid unexpected pops, we recommend storing unopened bottles in the fridge or at temperatures no higher than 20°C. Once opened, keep it in the fridge and consume within a month.

Why is GOODIE sour?

GOODIE is sour because it is NATURAL! During fermentation, bacteria feast on the sweetness of the berries, leaving behind a refreshing tang. We don’t pasteurise GOODIE or add any sugar, making it not only a natural, healthy, and beneficial product, but also a little workout for your face with that tangy kick.

Blackcurrant greets you with an intense aroma of dark berries and currants, layered with gentle herbs and roasted-nut notes.

The flavour is deep, intense and lightly acidic, with fig-or-plum hints adding refined accents. Bright acidity and herbs balance naturally, while a subtle sweetness offsets the bold berry tones.

GOODIE Sea Buckthorn

Sea buckthorn opens with tropical-fruit and tart-berry aromas, rounded by hints of toast and mild herbs.
